Life on the
Farm

IT'S ALWAYS MOO-VING

As you could imagine, life on the farm has changed over the past 5+ decades, Edaleen Dairy has been farming. There's a lot more cows we look after and a lot more acres of field we tend to.  While new science and technology have made things faster and easier, we have not lost our backbone of farming - we still prioritize the well-being of our cows and the quality of our crops. Our cows are milked everyday (as they need and should be) and have nutritionist-approved feed available 24/7. We tend to our fields year-round to ensure a bountiful harvest of grass silage, corn silage, and alfalfa, providing our cows with balanced and nutritious feed all year long.

At our farm, we take pride in our commitment to sustainability. Since our humble beginnings in 1975, we have grown to over 1,200 cows and many more acres of land. However, with this growth comes the responsibility of tending to our cows and land in a sustainable and healthy way. Through the use of new science and technology, we are able to prioritize sustainability every single day. While we have many ways of sustainability - we have two key elements that aid in our commitments: our anaerobic digester and voluntary milking system (robots)!
